Applications for Fashion East AW25 support in February 2025 will open around October 2024.
We look for designers who have developed a strong signature to their work, understand the fashion industry at an international level and have reached the standard required to show on-schedule at London Fashion Week. Designers should be able to produce a coherent, well edited & styled, small collection for the VIP editors and buyers attending. It’s preferable but not essential to have a fashion University qualification, and we encourage industry experience. Ideally a designer will already be working with a stylist and may have generated some press coverage and have a plan to sell. Sponsorship is offered on a season by season basis, for 1-3 seasons. Please note that we often follow the progress of a designer until the panel is confident they are ready to show. If you are not selected when you first apply, you may still be invited to submit work again at a later date.

Stage 1 - Application Form

Fill in the application form at the bottom of this page. Along with your name, email address & brand information, you will be asked to submit a single pdf document including a brief statement about you as a designer, your CV and images of your work. Please include anything to help us visualise your work – including sketches, research and past & current collections. Please do not send any physical garments, portfolios or other materials by post. Your online application will be reviewed and you will be informed if you have been shortlisted or not.

Stage 2 - SHORTLIST

If you have been shortlisted you will be invited to meet Lulu Kennedy and the team at Fashion East in East London for a brief and informal interview. In this meeting you are encouraged to bring along samples and your portfolio.

Stage 3 - Panel Selection

After meeting the shortlisted applicants, Lulu Kennedy and our industry panel then choose the winning designers. Once the final selection is made, designers will be notified.
